Questions, answered.

What does Guardian AI do?

It shows what every drive costs. After each trip you get the estimated fuel and Salik cost and a driving score. Before you go, you can compare Fastest, Safest and Cheapest routes. On CarPlay you get a map built for UAE roads with lane guidance. Crash detection runs while you drive, and the people you choose can see your trip reports.

How is the fuel cost worked out?

We estimate the litres each trip used and price them at the official UAE fuel price for that month (Special 95 is AED 4.28/L in October 2026, per the UAE Fuel Price Committee). It is an estimate: your car’s real consumption will differ.

And Salik?

We add the Salik gates your trip passed through, marked as an estimate. Route options show whether a route has tolls before you leave, so you can pick a toll-free one.

How is the driving score calculated?

Each trip gets a score out of 100 from five factors you can see in the app: Braking, Acceleration, Cornering, Speeding and Phone use. Hard brakes, hard accelerations, sharp turns and speeding are counted per 100 km, so a long drive is not marked down for its length. Phone use is measured as seconds of handling per hour of driving. Trips under 500 metres or under a minute are not scored.

Does it work with CarPlay?

Yes. Plug in and your trip starts on its own. You get a map built for UAE roads, lane guidance, the speed limit, and a heads-up about a kilometre before accident-prone stretches while you navigate.

What is the AI co-driver?

It’s coming soon. First you’ll be able to ask about any trip and get an answer with a replay, see whether your habits are improving, and find your Tricky Spots: places where you braked or swerved hard on two or more trips in 60 days. After that comes coaching on every drive, with a heads-up about 10 seconds before your own Tricky Spots.

Do I need any hardware?

No. Guardian AI runs on your phone. No dongle, no dashcam.

Can my family see my drives?

Only if you choose. You pick who can see your trip reports, and you can change that at any time.

Is my driving data private?

Yes. Your telemetry stays private. We use it to score your drives, estimate your costs and run crash detection. Trip reports go only to the people you choose. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time.
